Join Frank Grindrod of Earthwork Programs and Lenore Anderson of Natural Vitality for this unique experience and come away with skills in correct identification of wild edibles and medicines you can find right outside your back door.

Lenore Anderson, M.A. Educator, Holistic Health Coach and Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Acupressurist and Clinical Herbalist, will work with Frank Grindrod on these Workshops.

You will learn how and when to harvest by season and in what habitat to seek out your favorite wild edibles. Additionally you will learn how to harvest with intention; keeping in mind the importance of the responsibility we have as foragers and earth stewards.

* Bring own tent & supplies–$10/person

You can set up your tent in our big field – an 8-acre field of mowed grass. It is a short walk from there up to the main lodge where you can use the shower and bathroom facilities, kitchen and dining room.

* Rustic cabins w/bunkbeds (bring own linens/sleeping bags)–$20/person (limited spots)

Both cabins have electricity. If it is cold, there is a space heater available. They are very plain, like a backyard shed. The bunks are metal camp-style with foam mattresses, but we have multiple mattresses if you want to stack them for more comfort. You will need to bring your own sleeping bags. Both cabins are just a few steps from the lodge where you can use the shower and bathroom facilities, kitchen, and dining room.
— Fox Cabin has two bunkbeds to sleep 4 people.
— Eagle Cabin is larger and can accommodate 6 people in 3 bunkbeds.

The bathroom and shower facilities are rustic, like a summer sleepaway camp or simple campground. The men’s and women’s bathrooms each have hot and cold water, with 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sinks. Sadly, they are not
heated.

Bouchard Lodge

The Lodge is a rustic multi-purpose camp building.

The kitchen has a commercial gas range, several refrigerators, 2 sinks, and a microwave. It is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc.  We just ask that you clean up after yourselves and recycle into the
appropriate containers.

The dining area is very flexible. We have folding tables and chairs that you can use as needed, a small nature library for reference, and a cabinet of board games. There is an old tv and a pile of videotapes that you are welcome to use.

NEED TO REGISTER FOR CAMPING BEFORE MAY 10
