Primitive Cooking & Medicine Making (for adults, teens & families): During the Wild Edibles & Medicinals Workshop, we gather wild plants and mushrooms and process them. During this Workshop, we will cook a feast from the roots and plants we harvested. Learn how to cook a delicious hot stone soup in a pumpkin! Food prep and maintaining a good fire are two secrets to good outdoor cooking while enjoying the process; we will share many tips and tricks.
Experience herbal medicine making with Cherry Bark Syrup! In combination with the Wild Edibles & Medicinals Workshop, learn how to ethically harvest wild cherry bark, easily peel the inner bark and make medicinal syrup for dry hacking coughs and many other health conditions.
