1356 Ashfield Road, Conway (which is actually Rt. 116)
* Coming from South Deerfield/Rt. 91: Take Rt. 116 for 6 miles into the village of Conway. Continue on Rt. 116 for 3 more miles from the center of Conway (the Conway Inn) going towards Ashfield. At 2.5 miles, look for paved turnout on the right. You’ll go around a big curve and see an yellow/orange road sign on RIGHT with a righthand arrow on it…this points up the driveway. There is a little number sign (1356) on a tree just before the driveway. (If you get to North Poland Rd. on your left, you’ve gone about 50′ too far).
* Coming from the South: Take I91 North to Exit 24 (Conway/South Deerfield). At end of the ramp, turn RIGHT onto Rts. 5 & 10. Go straight through the traffic light, past the Red Roof Inn and Yankee Candle (both on your left), and straight through another light at the end of Yankee Candle’s parking lot. Move into the LEFT lane and turn LEFT at the next light onto Rt. 116 West. Take Rt. 116 for 6 miles into the village of Conway. Continue on Rt. 116 for 3 more miles from the center of Conway (the Conway Inn) going towards Ashfield. At 2.5 miles, look for paved turnout on the right. * Coming from Ashfield: Take Rt. 116 towards Conway. Pass the “Entering Conway” sign, look for North Poland Road on the RIGHT. The entrance is the LEFT about 50′ after North Poland Road. You’ll need to slow down, because the drive is somewhat hidden coming from the Ashfield direction, and when you enter the driveway, you’ll be doubling back, paralleling Rt. 116.
** Go slowly on the dirt driveway, and be aware of cars coming from the opposite direction.
DROP OFF/PICK UP: Go up the dirt driveway, up the hill, around the curve to the right and continue up until you get to the large field on the left (don’t go up the driveway to the left to the cabin) .
