A guided journey to connect yourself to nature.
Saturday, May 14, 6 pm to 9 pm
For Adults & Families
Conway, MA
Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed? Do you feel depleted and worry that your immunity is not functioning optimally? Are you wondering how you are going to survive this winter cooped up inside and disconnected? If so, then this experience may be just what your ancestor’s doctor ordered.
We will use gentle invitations and embodiment practices to engage our senses and awaken to the Spring Forest. This experience is an opportunity to slow down and hear the voice from the more-than-human world. Who might appear in the forest to greet you and what gift do you have for them?
We will be outside for the entire walk. This is a slow guided walk through a forested habitat. This is not a hike and does not require any special skills, knowledge, equipment, or experience.
Now, imagine yourself surrounded by a circle of friendly folks around the campfire, sharing stories of nature connection, heroes, lessons from the animals and whatever folks want to share with the group. That’s the Art of Storytelling!
BONUS: Do you understand night navigation? It’s not enough to just know where the North Star and the Big Dipper are…you need to be able to know where to look and have special ways to remember and how to be able to tell that you have the right constellation. In this Workshop, we discuss this as a bonus!
Covid-19 Protocol: This event will be held entirely outside with ample space for social distancing. The choice to wear a mask or not will be honored on an individual basis. If you sign up but are unable to attend because you are not feeling well your ticket will be refunded.
